Kleoniki Stanich is a visual artist and filmmaker unveiling hidden stories of daily life and the ordinary. Her practice discusses relationships with one’s self, others, places and memories. Perception and communication, or the lack of it, often participate in her narratives as active sources of storytelling. Kleoniki works with archived memories and experiences of daily life and is interested in the stories and histories of women that often reflect a collective memory. She graduated the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2018 with a nomination and is currently a fellow at Artworks by SNF.
